Vestibular disorders consist in the appearance of symptoms such as dizziness, balance disorders or nystagmus caused by the damage of the vestibular apparatus. The role of the diagnostic tests is to evaluate the functions of the vestibular system and to exclude other causes.
The prerequisites for successful pharmacotherapy are the 4D’s: correct diagnosis, correct drug, appropriate dosage and sufficient duration.
